Changes in Attitude

Remember my post about driving to Miami for our medicals?

Remember how I wasn't supposed to eat anything but I snuck to Halloween candy bars in my purse because there was no way I was going to make it till lunch?

That was 6 months ago. SIX! can you believe that? Six months ago we were embarking on an adventure we had no idea how that was going to go and here we are disembarking getting ready for the next. 

We got up super early November 2nd, to go get blood drawn and have Drew find out how they check for prostate. Now we've spent the night at the George Bush Houston airport which after waking up at 4am half curled up on a bench has the same feeling except its brighter. 

It blows my mind that that was 6 months ago. Funny how time goes by so fast. We've already flown through thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, valentines and St. Patricks day. 

I'm thankful for the opportunity God gave us, for the growth He allowed in our marriage, for the opportunity to spend the winter in the Caribbean.  For the people we have met and grown close too, I know that those were not goodbyes when we signed off but just "See You Later's"

Who knows what the rest of the year will bring, but I know it will be great.
