Lord I was born a ramblin' man:
Well Drew and I have been off the ship almost two weeks and we have been on a south-east tour of the USA. We left Orlando and went north to Valdosta, GA to visit Drew's family. We spent the evening there and left in the morning for Louisiana where we were New Orleans bound.
While on the ship Drew started watching WWE wrestling, well after a few weeks he decided since we'd be off the ship by then we should...no...have to go to wrestlemania so we were in New Orleans for that. My aunt Jodi opened her place up for us to stay. Neither of us had been to Louisiana, it was fun.
Following our trip to New Orleans was Amory, Mississippi where Drew is from. It's right outside Tupelo and that's where his grandparents live. They also have a house in Alabama in the middle of the country. Okay okay it has a real name it's called brilliant, Alabama but really I was surprised to have cell service.
This family were friends with, their son had a gymnastics tournament in Birmingham so since we were in that neck of the woods we decided to go and support him.
Next week we are North Carolina bound, to go visit my family and our friends there.
This little south east tour has been fun and an adventure. I'm ready to get into a regular routine. (Okay, I'm ready to get a regular running routine) and be back in Florida but until then I'm enjoying seeing people we haven't seen in 6+ months. We're thankful for the people who have opened their homes to ourselves and eve. ;D as well as cooking for us. Lots and lots of home cooking. I'm definitely a fan of that.
Until next time.
