I heard I was in town...I'm still here!

oh my goodness.
I am so sorry for the lack of update and I am so sorry for the lengthy post you're about to encounter. but if you missed me then you won't mind. ;]

so I have already finished my second cruise on the Navigator of the Seas which means after a month I am FINALLY with my lovely husband, Drew Maples.

We are doing well, and are so happy and thankful to be together. the month apart has brought us closer together than ever before. I'm not saying that every couple needs to be a part for a month but I will say and confirm that distance makes the heart grow fonder. we are so thankful for God bringing us through this time and bringing us together sooner than we expected. everything we have been through this past month and a half heck for the past three years together and the past 22 years of our lives and experiences is all God's handy work and we will never deny that. we don't give Him enough credit. there is no mistake or wrong turn its all Him.

Cruise life is still taking an adjustment. it's not our favorite but happy we have each other to survive. haha

Our ship sails from Galvaston, TX and goes to Cozumel, Belize,Grand Cayman Islands, Jamaica and Honduras. (Not in that order and only three a week)
We are having a blast hosting events and goofing off with guests together.  We have met some really cool people.

on January 6th we will dry dock in Freeport, Bahamas. the ship will get a facelift and refurb. Actually all the ships are getting a facelift to be on the same level as our newer ships despite their size. we'll do a lot of organizing, cleaning along with fire watch where we make sure  welders don't set the ship on fire. we literally stand in one place with a spray bottle and fire extinguisher. at least that's the word on the street. either way I get to live in the Bahamas for a month.

Drew and I are in the process of getting scuba certified. I have to finish my book and take a test then we have the actual hands on work in the pool then in the big blue world. I'm a little nervous but every one I've talked to has loved it and said its great.

that's a little update on me and us.  I only get phone data every seven days. so on Sundays is when I'm back in Texas. I try to answer emails and Facebook messages and some txts bc I only get one day a week to do that. don't be offended if I'm late to replying to anything. :P

I miss my friends on the Liberty of the Seas and hope they all have a fantastic Christmas and New Years. shout outs to :  Amanda,Sanheeta, Sarah, Ana,Kim, Sandy, Eddie, Carlos, CeCe,Rich,Kelly,Jamie, and many more. some of them are home already some of them are still on the ship. I wish you all the best!
