I woke up before my alarm, I was so afraid I would sleep through it and miss the shuttle and then miss the ship. I even turned off the air conditioning unit in the room because I was afraid of not hearing it.

I got up and took a shower, blew dry my hair and got dressed. I had already packed my things because once again I didn't want to leave anything and I didn't want to be left. (do we see a theme here?)

I went down to the lobby unsure of where to go until I saw a bunch of luggage along with a high volume of international people. (I was in the right place) I'm not much of a breakfast person so I didn't use my meal voucher I just bought a bottle of water and a granola bar.

I was about 30-45 min early for the shuttle so I just sat and people watched until it got there. I was antsy, nervous, missing my husband and unsure of what I had gotten myself into. I saw a girl about my age with a buzz light year sweatshirt (Convo starter!)

I said I liked it and I have one too, turned out she had just finished a Disney College Program this spring. Her name is Sarah and her position is youth staff. I had found a shuttle buddy and a new friend.

every time I go somewhere new God always provides me with someone to sit with or talk to. He's blessed me with an outgoing personality which allows me to be able to have these contacts. I prayed that night that Drew would have a "Sarah" as well.

We got to the port which was about 30 min or so from our hotel, went through customs/security and boarded the ship. Walking up the ramp I was getting anxious, there was no turning back.

It was time to sign our contracts and start this voyage. First they wanted our medicals. Guess who was told she didn't need to board with the medical?Yeah I was freaking out! when it got to my turn I told them the situation and they said unfortunately if I don't get the medicals to them then I don't stay on the boat. I'm So thankful Drew had wifi at the time. I was able to text him for the number to the medical office to get them to email me my medical results so I could print them off. The whole process of calling and getting them emailed probably took only 20 minutes but it felt like an hour. I was tired, I was nervous, I was emotional, this was the last thing I needed. I'm glad I got on first so I could let Drew know he was going to need them as well. Once again God was looking out for us. Drew always reminds me that God doesn't give us things or situations we can't handle, well I was close to my breaking point but got reigned me in and refocused me.

After signing my contract I met my manager CiCi who is super nice, and friendly. She showed me around a little bit and introduced me to people. I met the cruise director, Rich who is really cool.  then I went to start my first training class.

ALOT of information is given to you in the first two weeks I'm told but I think the majority of it is in the first day.  My cruise director said if I can handle the first two weeks and stay strong the rest of my contract will be a breeze.

The first night is hard, I was so lonely and missed Drew tremendously. I know after this contract we'll be closer to each other and to God. I prayed for safety and health for Drew, that his boarding wouldn't be as complicated.

I was ready to go to bed, it had been a LONG day.
